Education:
Fred Long is a Trusts and Estates attorney who guides families through the complex process of Pennsylvania trust and estate administration following the loss of a loved one. From probate proceedings to trust funding and fiduciary accounting, he ensures every step is handled with clarity and care—so executors, trustees, and beneficiaries can move forward with confidence.
Fred also works with individuals and families to build comprehensive estate plans that reflect their goals and values. He regularly assists clients in structuring plans that involve real estate holdings and closely held business interests, ensuring these assets are preserved and positioned for long-term success. Fred has a particular interest in the preferential tax treatment of real estate and works with clients to thoughtfully balance its tax attributes in both lifetime and legacy planning.
Community and Personal Life:
“I was born and raised in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. I place a lot of value on community. Over the years, I’ve served as a board member or as a volunteer for a lot of different civic and charitable organizations. I really try to find ways to give back. May faith and my family are most important to me. I also have a deep love for the outdoors— biking, hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, paying golf, or skiing; I’m always looking for a reason to spend time outside with family and friends.”
